Soot-colored bamboo is bamboo that has been smoked on a hearth for tens or hundreds of years and turned into a beautiful amber color. Nowadays, hearths have dwindled in number, and soot-colored bamboo is very precious. Nakagawa Woodworking only uses naturally sooted bamboo, and each pair of chopsticks is carefully sharpened with a hand plane. The chopstick tips are thin and non-slip, making it easy to eat noodles, beans, and many other food items, making them a customer favorite.

Materials: Bamboo

Dimensions (W x D x H): 225×14×7

If a size is not in stock, we will make it after receiving your order (It takes about one week to make).

* Due to the nature of naturally sooted bamboo, there may be uneven coloring and may have some flaws. Regardless, we will make sure to choose the darkest color with the fewest flaws wherever possible (If you prefer a lighter color, please indicate so in the order remarks section).
* Please note that the chopstick tips are thin, so please be careful that children do not get it poked in their eyes or other sensitive parts.
