木桶を進化・変化させたWAVEシリーズはアメーバのように一つの形にとらわれず、
変化をしながら新たなデザインを生み出している。
中川木工芸はこれからも木桶の伝統を継承しながら、進化する作品づくりを続けていきます。

Our WAVE series, which has evolved and changed the wooden tubs is not bound
by one shape like the Amoeba and creates a new design during changes.
Our workshop will continue to make evolving works while inheriting the
traditions of wooden tubs.

熟練の職人が丁寧につくりあげるアクリル製バスタブ・メーカー、アルティス。
日本ならではのハイクオリティなものづくりで評価を集めているアルティスが
中川木工芸とタッグを組み、今年のミラノサローネで”KONOHA”を発表します。
中川木工芸主宰の中川周士が手掛けたシャンパンクーラーのオーバルなデザインを活かし、
バスタブのモジュールにリデザインし、木目の美しい日本産木材で手作りしています。
木桶作りの伝統技術を生かしつつ、モダンにアレンジされた秀逸なデザインは、
お風呂を愛する国ならではのもの。
Artis is a manufacturer of acrylic bathtubs carefully crafted by skilled craftsmen.
Artis, which has been highly acclaimed for its high-quality craftsmanship
unique to Japan, has teamed up with Nakagawa Mokkougei to present “KONOHA”
at this year's Milano Salone.
Taking advantage of the oval design of the champagne cooler designed by
Shuji Nakagawa, the founder of Nakagawa Mokkougei, it has been redesigned into
a bathtub module and handcrafted from Japanese lumber with beautiful grain.
While making use of the traditional techniques of making wooden tubs,
the excellent design arranged in a modern style,
is unique to a country that loves baths.
